SSBC 13in big brake kit

ok so i order my 22's for my truck and i am going to need bigger brakes... how good are the SSBC 13in kit
you see on ebay for 799. if their are not that good, what kit should i go with. :dontknow:

Would stick to the TRD BBK's. That's a personal opinion though. You won't go wrong with them. Also a bunch of people are running 22's with them and have no problem.

From what I hear the SSBC Big brake kits are great. Sparky's Tacoma over on CT is running them on his X and I know he's making a lot of power. He's told me personally that they do a great job for what he asks of them but I'm unsure if he has the 13" or next ones up?

I do know that SSBC uses a Lexus IS brake rotor and a late Camaro 2 piston Caliper and the replacement parts are much cheaper then the TRD replacement parts. Just something to consider.

Id go with the Rotora 6 piston 355 kit. It'll fill out the wheel very nicely with 22's and the kits cheaper than the TRD one. Personally, i think the SSBC will look tiny with your wheel selection and cheap. Good luck.

hey thanks guy i will look in to this. i will have the rims in about 3 weeks or so. i dont think the stock brakes are going to hold up with the 22's.
