A better way is to use the whole car without blowing it up first....

That's to easy! Better to have something to talk about with guest than with your toilet!

New 6266 with 4" ported shroud inlet, 2.5" outlet, T4 tangential inlet, 3 5/8" v-band outlet, .81 A/R.

Versus the .68 A/R on the older version. Keeps the heat down just a little. To be clear, the only reasons I purchased this turbo, is because I got a good deal on it from www.Turbochargers.com, my older one was obsolete (so if I sell this kit and someone wanted to change the turbine housing, they'd be SOL.), and it fits just the same.

The work from last night.

With the wastegate dump tube finally recalculated, I cannot express how truly strong and tuned the exhaust sounds now...... A combustion symphony!

Now I need to pull it apart and heat wrap everything.

I would also like to note, that I already miss the Borg Warner turbo. Even being larger overall, and having a larger A/R on the turbine housing, it still spools faster than this smaller turbo.

How she sits as of today.

And here is a close-up of the wastegate all wrapped up. It was a bit of a pain at that.

Those are my only hood latch, so I ordered the locking style. Removed the OEM one some time ago, as it kept getting in the way during wrenching.

I did a decent write-up on the installation. That will help take away some of the questions.
