This thread started by the OP was about an X vs a Chevy, let's keep that in mind.

Any further flaming or bashing on an persons X will cause this thread to be shut down.

Well going back to the topic I had an x runner but trade it for a lightning. And let me tell you the x is the best truck I had so far. I've had a gmc sonoma and now a lightning. I like my lightning but I miss the x wish thar I was rich so that I can have both trucks. If I had the chance to get my x back I would.

i used to have an s-10 with the little 4cyl in it. i had intake and exhaust on it but i decided to stop modding when i couldt even do a burnout. i would powerbrake it and it would just bog down and the tires wouldnt spin at all. i raced an extreme colorado back in december right after i got my x and i smoked him. we were going down the highway and i pulled up to him and looked over at hiim, he gave the nod, i put it in 4th at 50mph and honked 3 times and we were off.... he jumped ahead of me because i downshifted into 3rd but as soon as i caught the gear and was getting ready to shift into 4th i was even with him and i pulled away through 4th 5th and 6th... i let up when i looked behind me and saw him getting off the exit!!! haha he though he could run from the shame. no such luck because it turns out i was going to exit the same exit but i missed it because of racing him and so i turned around and got off the exit he went down and i was heading to the grocery store. when i pulled up in the parking lot i saw him getting out of his truck so i revved up as i passed him and gave him a little smirk... he turned radiant red!!!

I haven't had a run at an Xtreme yet, but I have with the Monte Intimidator SS. I spun from a dig and he had me by a length up until I caught second, then i ended up beating him by at least three... If they are torquey cars at all I guess they lose out on a lot of it because of the 4-speed auto tranny...

Colorado extremes weight 3646lbs and I actually raced one with exhaust and intake and maybe a chip and we were right beside eachother but we went from a dig and I spun way more then he did

Suprising yes I know I was too but his auto was a lil better off the line

haha i think youre talkin about me....was it bright blue and we were on fairmont?

and btw i dont remember who said it but 220hp is the old xtremes. they have a 3.5 liter
i have an 07, the 07+ have the 3.7 liter that stock has 242..but with my intake and exhaust and few bolt ons idk what it is now...

and last night on the freeway i raced an xrunner...i wish i knew who he was if he was on here..nice truck...but we tookoff from about 65 and my stupid auto didnt downshift but he was not really pulling on me at all, he just started a little ahead of me. and once we got to 99 i had to shut down cuz i have no damn tune and i have a stupid governor.... but im sure i wouldve hung by him for a good while

:laugh: :rofl::rofl::beer: reminds me of my frontier.... lol. I couldn't do a burnout either..... I was even thinking about going s/c but then got to drive one and a six cylinder mustang kept up with me.... lol... that is the day I sold it and started looking for my X. :top:
