Interesting that you think the quality is low for a brake kit that cost over 2k. This is exactly why I started this thread because after seeing the price of the rotora I wanted to know what was better bang for the buck or was rotora the only option.

As for the rear proportioning issue. Has anyone tried a proportioning valve on the rear conversion kits to make them work better or is it just the fact that there is no weight in the rear to justify converting for performance abilities?

I have a rear adjustable proportioning valve. It is needed for the rear disk conversion to function at its full abilities.

The nuts that hold the caliper hat to the bracket are made of metal, no joke, that is thin enough to bend the nut with normal pliers. Not that i used pliers on it, lol. They strip out easy. Rotora refused to provide me with torque specs for those nuts, after the first one failed. "Just make em tight" was the reply.... I ended up replacing them with grade 8 nuts. Ill see if I have one lying around so I can show you guys what I mean....

Just make em tight... but not too tight because they may strip. Lol what a joke. I'll probably replace mine if they're as weak as you say they are.

I dont know if the 4piston shares the same mounting hardware...just be careful with them.
