Write-Up: Disabling Seatbelt Buzzer

Thanks for posting this...can't believe they set it to start alarming immediately...seems like my mazda would do it after about 20 seconds or so...this really made me want to kick kittens...just need to get the passenger side done now.

So I guess nobody knows how to disable seatbelt buzzer properly on a 2012 xrunner?? Thanks if for anybody does know to....??

This can also be done with the Toyota Techstreme scan tool.

I tried unsuccessfully to disable it with a bluetooth dongle and software.
Since I had the seats out to install the heaters I figured I'd give the spring a shot.

Just wanted to add that pulling that spring out of the seatbelt did the trick.
I only did the drivers side.
