WTB 3" exhaust

Recently added boost, now I need the other essentials. I thought traction bar would be necessary but it doesn't axle hop anymore with the drop (title edit). Mainly looking for a 3" cat-back style exhaust system. PM if you have something

No I replaced the magnaflow with a blackwidow widow maker muffler. Here's a sound clip.

That's also on the new 3.5L not the same as the 4.0L that are in the XRs. Not saying the sound isn't similar but it's not an apples to apples comparison.

sorry, my intention wasn't to try to compare 4.0 to 3.5l. was Just showing how my setup sounds with black widow muffler since we were on the subject. Thanks for clarifying

That black widow has a unique tone, I'd like a bit more rumble tho. I didn't know magnaflow is what URD uses but makes sense. We mainly do magnaflow systems for muscle cars at work. PM sent

Good info there! Leaning towards making something custom. Went by local muffler shop to inquire price, he said around $180 to build a 3" system if I supply muffler/resonator/tip. Im thinking vibrant ultra quiet resonator and magnaflow muffler. Need to tone this ish down

I've never heard the truck stock. Bought it with 2-1/4 borla cat-back installed which is still on it. Then I added DTLT headers which made it louder...then I added catless URD Y-pipe which made it louder and raspy. I like borla in general but the muffler is small (pipe as well) and now with the supercharger and cam gears its loud AF and really raspy at certain rpms and especially while decelerating. I have a great stereo I can barely hear lol

The key to killing rasp, in the past, has been an 18" resonator 1" downstream of the y-pipe/catback flange. Hope this helps.
