Too bad youre in Maine, I have a BR tonneau that I don't have room for to store, nor do I like it on the truck (usually hauling stuff). Farthest north I go is Nashville though...

Nice looking truck, I was very close to getting a 2011 BR, but got the '12 instead.

I installed my TRD Quickshifter this weekend.... Wow I'd forgotten how awful the stock shifter is. It's like a completely different truck. I also received my WeatherTech's last week. I'm not sure what i'm doing next. I have started a wish list and by the looks of it, I might just go broke over the next few years

The TRD is a dream. I had it on my last XR, after trying out the B&M. B&M is nice but it was too tight and short for my liking. TRD is still tight & short but I feel like mis-shifting in the B&M is easier.

Actually I need to do that. Do you know if it has to be registered for me to get the inspection sticker? I believe that's like the 1st item on the list... I can't register it yet cause I don't have everything I need from the dealership. Luckily Ohio does 45 day temp plates so I'm good for a while.

ya it needs to be registered. once u register it call up and make an appointment sometimes u can just stop by but sometimes they are asses about it

Just got off the phone with TRD tech service about my rattling TRD shifter and they said that is common and they wouldn't do anything about it.

If the bushing in the shifter isn't shot try adding some teflon tape at the shift knob. /end thread jack

I've been gone a while but i've officially returned to my roots. I owned an 05 SWB XR from 2008 - 2010. I traded her in and regretted it ever since. Today I have righted that wrong. I found a clean used 2011 BR X-Runner w/ 24k miles at Kings Toyota in Cincinnati, OH and drove 985 miles from Maine to pick her up. They gave me a good price on my trade in (2013 Hyundai Veloster Turbo) and we got the deal done quickly and easily. The truck was Certified pre owned as well so that's an added bonus. I made it about half way home tonight, stopped off in Geneva, NY to rest until morning. I'll officially be home with the truck tomorrow. Here's a few quick pics. It feels so good to be back behind the wheel of an X-Runner.
