looking for sources on a replacement motor for my 2005 tacoma. im in southern california and willing to drive a reasonable distance to buy a good motor with low miles.

looking for a standard 4.0 v6 1gr-fe with under 50k miles and will pass a leakdown test

an x-runner motor would be nice but im not sure my ecu will work correctly with a xr motor

let me know what you got or what someone has in the south west region.
may be interested in buying a salvage truck if its not a rollover or not hit too bad in the front.

Mine is a 05 and I dropped in a 2011 in with no problems .. It will be up for sale soon 6k on it now

thanks. who knows when they started doing the air injection, i want to avoid that.

whats the going price these days? i paid 1k for the last motor i had to replace but that was a few years ago.
