How fast can you type?

Fastest I ever typed was back in high school, was averaging over 100wpm.

Here is what I did on the first try on Test Instructions 1 minute.

This was my first try, on the Test Instructions one. I was at 132 WPM, but at the end of the paragraph I fugged up bad and and to go back and fix it. If I did it one or two more times I could break 140 WPM with 100 percent I think.

Not bad, I could do faster if I wasn't tired. I am not the fastest when typing a copy either. If I free type I can go much faster. Those of you with the uber speeds you better not be cheating and doing the same test subject over and over

I didn't cheat, when I was in middle school (long ago) I went for the world record which at the time was 189 WPM no errors. I managed to get up to 167, but could never break 170. :thumpdown:

The stupid lady that had it cheated and used a Dvorak keyboard. I think there should be one for QWERTY too.. might be now a days. Should look into that. =P

Growing up I smoked a lot of pot and played a lot of text based MUDs online.

When the entire game is nothing but words, your character is only as good as your fingers and keyboard. :laugh:
