after i removed the amber film from the back side of the clock face i thought it would look better blue(since my gauges are blue). the lens becomes clear after removing the amber film. then i taped off the area that i wanted to be blue and picked up some blue stainded glass spray paint from michaels. the drying time is quite a bit longer than standard spray cans. i let it dry overnight.

the temp gauges cannot be changed. i've been working on it for the past month and aside from casting a new temp faceplate it cant be done. i did change out the a/c and recirc LEDS no prob.

Hmm. I did this same mod too, even bought the paint from Michaels. Mine looked green and the numbers had Halos around them. How many coats did you apply? Also can you post the paint you used(Pics)?
