lord knows im gonna try not to use bad language with the fedex man when he gets here cause its not his fault.after finally making it all the way through the check out on a URD short shifter late wednesday night i wanted to pay the extra $30 for the "2 day air" so i could have saturday and be able to enjoy it on my day off.. well piss on that fed ex tell me. it left URD at about 3 pm thursday it think thats when i started to worry a little but i thought its all good.well i guess fedex went on strike saturday cause its been sitting in Tallahassee sense about 715 in the morning if it were not a 200 mile trip idjust go git the darn thing, but now there telling me it will be tuesday.wtf man thursday - tuesady.... not 2 day thats 5.so wtf fedex guy

I know that sucks man. They are going to tell you that it was due to weather issues that it hasnt left the facility yet. I dont know what to tell you to do other than ask them to refund the difference on the 2 day shipping. Good luck bro!!

Late Wednesday may not count as 1 shipping day.

I know UPS isn't running until Monday.

Fedex guys are private contractors and they really dont care about your stuff.

UPS is the only consistently reliable shipping company (at least for us).

dang man... i ++ ^^^. i would def ask for a refund on the shipping... but first find out and see what days they were open before you ask for your money back... and i wouldn't count wed. as a shipping day just a confirmation day that your order got processed... sorry bro..

You may have to ask Gadget for the difference, I don't know how FedEx runs, but I know that with the USPS, only the shipper will get refunded the difference in service paid versus services rendered if the shipment is delayed since it was the shipper that paid for the services, not the receiver (unless you paid C.O.D.).

Fed Ex is crazy. I ordered some calendars I made for the family and shipped from Oregon to Tennessee then to California...hello... I am in the state just below YOU.

i think that you must also specify saturday delivery on top of 2nd day air. fed x primarily serves bussiness class shipping, and most companys do not work saturday. if you really wanted it that bad why not go with overnight delivery? and on top of it all this is the worst time to ship something.

haha thats a joke right? Fedex is about the only reliable shipping company. UPS doesn't give a rep about your package and if they damamge it they refuse to pay the insurance, its happened to me twice and some of my family and friends.

I had my first hiccup with Fedex last week overnighted a pack to NY Wednesday morning supposed to be there Thursday by 1500 well thursday night it was in NJ. I called Fedex explained what happened and i'm getting a full refund, that would NEVER happen with UPS.

You should never count saturday(unless you pay for sat delivery which is $$$$),sundays, or holidays as shipping days.

You ordered Weds, thursday is day one, friday/sat/sun doesn't count. Monday would be day two. Thems the breaks withs holiday times.

Thursday is iffy as well, I know they were delivering, but I don't know if they were processing packages.

I have a friend that owns several Fedex routes in the savannah GA/beaufort SC areas. he told me they were off for the weekend for the holidays. I asked him why because the only day off they should have taken was friday, but he told me that the company was not "asking" them to work and since he owns his routes he was not going to work for free.
