You can use any blank transponder key, just get it cut and program it yourself.
Sit in truck, doors closed and locked.
insert and remove master key into ignition without turning it 5x (5th time the key should be in ignition) leave the master key in the ignition.
open and close door 6x (6th time, door should be closed) and remove the master key and insert the new transponder key into the ignition.
you may or may not notice your security light blink on and off.
leave the new key in the ignition until the light stops blinking or for about 1 minute, then open your door. remove the new key, close your door and re-insert the new key to test if it works.
this should work, but if it doesn't, wait a few minutes and try again. worked for me on my '06 X. good luck!
