Should I call in for Oil Change?

Had my truck since August 2013 and I was supposed to hit 5,009 miles by February 2014, but my truck today stands at almost 4,000 miles. Haven't even gotten an oil change within those months and is very low mileage. I'm not sure if I should go in for oil change for the hell of it, or wait till I hit 5k miles. Free oil change service for me though! :top:

I would have said do it yourself but since its free why not... If u havent changed it in that long id say get it changed ASAP

Regardless of the mileage you put on your truck you should change the oil atleast once a year.
Oil will degrade overtime and acids and water vapor build up inside the engine which is why you should change it on a regular basis

On new vehicles, I like to change my oil at 1000 miles and at 3000 miles.
After that, every 3-5000 miles (the closer to 3000 the better).
May be overkill for modern cars, but I'm still old school that way... :rolleyez:
