Ok guys please vote and provide some feedback. You can place multiple votes, so anything that would work for you please add your vote.
Most of the campgrounds in the area do have a limited number of cabins that can be rented. I know not everyone will want to "rough it". Also if the interest is there for camping we will find a nearby hotel for everyone else that would rather have that option. If the majority would rather just stick with a hotel then I won't look into the campgrounds.

As for the rafting it would be an AM trip, just from doing some quick research they usually run 3-5 hours and cost $50-$75/ person. Again if the interest is there I will look into it further and get you guys some more definite details and pricing.

I don't have an exact location, but right now I'm seriously looking at the Morgantown WV area.

I'm looking at 12 hours and I chose camping/campground :dontknow:. I'd go for a cabin though just because I'd hate to be stuck in a tent if the weather doesn't cooperate.
Like I said If we end up at a campground we will also find a nearby hotel. The event isn't going to be planned around "camping". Just an option that may be a little cheaper if people are looking to save a little bit.

I voted hotel, I think overall that would be cheaper for people depending on the hotel of course but I know those cabins get pricey.

I'd be down for spending no more then (1) night in a tent because I love the outdoors and a bonfire is always good times.
So Morgantown West Virginia huh? What's out there besides white water rafting, camping and long twisty roads? I don't know but those sound good enough for me! I'm still on the fence on whether i can make it or not because of work, or lack of. As soon as I find out I'll vote on what to do and where to do it if that becomes an option.

Rustic cabins for $60/night

Modern cabin for $180/night sleeps 20.... Hell even if only 10 people split it you're looking at $18/night. :biggrin:

Im for camping, seems like it would be more fun given the group of guys we had last year. Id probably just be tenting to save $. And since its West Virginia University area we might have to try the traditional couch burning.

Either way I can't wait... I want to make it no matter what...... A hot shower might be nice after a long ass drive.... but if its only 6hrs thats not to bad

seriously though I dunno about sharing a cabin with 18 other guys I have hardly met... Not that I will be sleeping much but hey.

As for camping get yourself an air mattress and it's not a bad sleep, the Ms has had 3 spinal surgeries and if her and John are willing to camp then we all need to grow a pair and suck it up!!! The only downer would be if it pisssed all weekend!!

White water rafting would be sick though!

So ur girl had 3 surgeries already? Wow I'm not there yet but I know they're talking neck and lumbar surgery in the future:thumbdown: To be honest with u I'm scared of spinal surgery, I've been under 4 times for other surgeries but it still scares me some. But ya grow a pair u peeps

I am all for a bed..... I like tents and all but if I am driving far I wouldn't mind getting a shower after a long night of drinking.... or white water rafting...

THe thrill seeker in me is all for the white water rafting.... so like alot of fun
