Coast to Coast road trip- Mission accomplished (with pics!)

Finally left Okinawa, Japan and took some leave at home in Los angeles, from there drove across the country and had pretty fun destinations on the way to my new base McGuire Airforce Base in NJ.

traded my old 20'' for some stockies to a forum guy , also in the airforce. Thanks again Jason!

ALOT of bottoming out haha..... i mean ALOT.

ended up shattering my back window from bottoming out too hard on the shitty roads in north jersey...

hey man sorry for the late reply... u airforce or marines? haha oki is a great island bro, lots to do especially sight seeing.... ur gonna miss ur xrunner alot tho but its a car buffet out there... the new curfew they got goin is ****in lame tho cause people cant handle their alcohol and do stupid shit. either than that ull be fine. if u need any info on places around tho feel free to pm me.

I bet that was a fun cross country trip. I drove from Nellis to NY then down to NC after leaving Korea (AF as well). Rushed and did it in 2 1/2 days though, snow storm was on my butt and I had summer tires FML.... Keep us updated with that back window and NY/NJ is the reason I'm afraid to drop any vehicle I own.

Solid rear window can be had for around $125, the way to go imho unless you actually use the slider. The bed must be loaded, being that low with only SS drop. Put QA1 shock on in the rear will help eliminate your bottoming out issue.

Getting the truck on a roadtrip is always fun. Nice pic, thanks for sharing.

I have a SS drop and have no issues being dropped:dontknow: Also Irunnit has a DJM 3/3 drop with no issues:dontknow: QA1's will will save ur bottoming issues.
Only reason I ask about u saying ur in north jersey is because MGuires isn't in north jersey, it's south jersey an the roads aren't as bad as u think.
