T56 Magnum

Gadget,

What is the price? When do you expect the kit to be complete? Or will you just sell the bell housing?

Thanks, Karl

the 5000-6500 would be a complete kit tranny adapter housing crossmember everything. as the apr kits were about 2000

Price sounds right for complete system

Want to use exactly what Gadget did for gearing as it would be nice to leave the rear end alone.

Any status updates? I got this deployment money burning a hole in my pocket and my transmission really sucks right now. Almost bought a turbo diesel turbo VW pickup.

Waiting on the first article of the bell housing. It is supposed to be on the way to me. Once I test fit it, I will give the go for the full production run.

Gadget,

Will you offer a kit or just the bell housing?

Thanks, Karl

:adore: :adore:

Just by looking at the smoothness of the casting on the inside of the bell housing, it already looks to be a better quality and possibly better quality aluminum than the ones that were made long ago. :top:

Yes, the aluminum is mostly reclaimed aluminum from aircraft that has been scrapped and recyled. Very high quality all the way through.

The castings are being done by the same company that casts most of the supercharger assemblies for TRD, Whipple, URD, and so on. I think they are the best in the USA!!!

What ratios did you go with gadget? I was unware this was possible. Is it costly?

There is a huge thread with all different kinds of tranny info.

I recommend you go with the version I am running. It is a Magnum with gear ratios very close to the stock trans and has the tail end and shifter location of the standard T56 from the Camaro.

This way it will drop in, bolt up, and you can run your stock diff and save some money.

Should have it installed on the XRunner in about 10 days.

Then if all is well, make a bunch of them!!!
