On ours ONE belt drives everything. With the TRD there are TWO belts.

drewXrunners belt broke...twice, then he got the new URD pulley and it has never done it again.

You do know that TRD systems have thrown a lot more belts than URD, right?

Throwing an ocasional belt is just part of running any supercharger. If you go supercharged TRD or URD just carry an extra belt.

If your running the TRD blower, no. You wont be able to drive w/ the belt off. The URD yes, My mustang with the D-1SC Procharger, the belt would break and I could still drive (w/ no a/c, p/s, alt, or water pump)

Sorry buy you are wrong, the TRD can be driven with no belt. I have done it, and it runs just fine, there is a bypass butterfly inside the trd blower that does not close until there is boost. when it closes the air is diverted into the rotor area. no boost signal, air bypasses the rotors.

Yup! The TRD setup runs just fine with out the belt. Thats what I meant when i said "if the belt breaks you arent Fd".

The nature of supercharged vehicles is to go through belts...
