Ok, so I did this last night, it took about an hour to do by myself. First off, let me say, there a ton of stuff holding this bumper on to the truck. I highly recommend using this to guide you through the removal process: http://grillcraft.com/installs/install_detail.aspx?install_id=106

The install instructions for the GrillCraft MX Series lower piece, actually shows the full steps for removal. Granted, you won't need the entire instruction sheet, but the first 15 steps literally show you how to remove it.

Another thing, when you are placing the small blue clips back in place, I recommend putting them in the same way, but flipping them over. When you flip them over, it gives them a nice snug fit.

Yea, it is fairly simple to do. The hardest part was putting the bumper back on, although I was doing it by myself. All you need is a Phillips and flathead screwdriver. You will need to get underneath the truck to undo some of the clips. I used a jack and some jack stands so I could get underneath easily, although they aren't required.

Do you absolutely have to replace that gasket when you take that piece off? And I know its just me but that whole process seems confusing.

you dont' have to replace the gasket if you cut the top off the black piece and put it on the backside of the bumper. It's not difficult once you get under the truck and do it. You're thinking too hard, lol

Sure, no prob. Just say when, then when we agree on a when, drive down to my apartment, lol.

... brings back sad memories though. The last time I saw XxRuNnAxX's truck in one piece, that's what we did. :ahhhhh:

But yeah... we also need to set up my tint appointment for the 18th

Alright, anytime on any weekend is good for me.

I called my buddy about the tint. LUCKILY I wrote down his number because about 1 hour after everyone left my house on that meet day my phone was left on my truck and got ran over a couple times when it fell off. As soon as I find the number (somewhere in my truck) Ill give him another call.

I want to laugh at you, and almost did... but I dropped mine in a 32oz Subway cup filled with water, that was sitting in my center console cupholder.

The only person that knew about this (until now) is David... 2006nightrider
